You and I, Alone by Melissa Toppen
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
The is the first book in the trilogy.
Anna aka Logan is a pole dancer/stripper working at Allure a very exclusive gentleman's clubbing Chicago while attending university. Logan is her stage name and she doesn't do private dances. Until one night, she is requested for a private dance and her manager Josh, whom she has a friends with benefits relationship with insists upon it. it is no longer an option. Who is this enigmatic man whom she is vividly attracted to? Bentley Reed....Logan fights her independent nature and all the rules she has set for herself as she falls hard and fast for this man. On the flip side, Bentley doesn't accept no for an answer, he is used to getting what he wants. When wills collide, the result is red hot. What can one night hurt? Logan can get him out of her system and move on? but will she, can she, will he accept just one night? Read for yourself.
I loved the twists and turns of this book. There is much more back story to these characters and can't wait to see how this evolves....
